Project One: “The Journey”

I plan on making my production piece on the concept of motion; it is titled “The Journey”.  The main character, or should I say object, will be a ball. The ball will journey to and from the same spot, almost like it was destined.  There will be different  angles used with different depth perceptions.  I will use Final Cut Pro X, which is a video editing software that I have never used, and will compile the video shots to music.

Split Screen Tutorial

These videos are on the longer side but a worthy viewing experience. The split screen is an effect that you may find yourself using. As always, for comparison, the tutorials are shown using Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere. I believe Final Cut has this one beat on simplicity.

Sin City Effect

Here is another short tutorial on how to apply a color correction method on your photos or videos. This method has been used in movies, TV shows, and commercials. I also included different editing softwares for comparison (Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Pro X, and Adobe Premiere).
